Also, State Drivers License Offices will be closed Aug, 2 and 3 During the closure, Eagle Courty residents can still renew their license plates online at or using the Gov2Go app, National Night Out is Aug. 7 Each year, approximately 38 million people nationwide gather for National Night Out, an annurl that seeks to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcemert. This year, local National Night Out events will take place the evening of Ag 7 at locations throughout the county. The Eagle County Sherift's Office will host events at the Edwards Freedom Park the Edwards Metro District, at the Town of Gypsum's Lundgren Theatre alongside the Town of Gypsum and Town of Eagle Police and at Triangle Park at Willts alongside the Town of Basalt Police and Basalt& Rural Fire Protection District. Local Government Energy Academy is Aug. 29-30 CSU Extension, along with Eagle County, the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments and Walking Mourtains Science Center is offering a Local Government 29 and 30. Attendees may register for either or both days. The LGEA workshop is intended to educate elected officials and staff on ways to participate in efficiency, renewables, and alternative transportation fuels.
